Day-Use Parks

A family-friendly recreation destination, Pyne Road Park features the areas largest boat ramp. A public campground, miles of hiking and equestrian trails, and Oakfuskee Conservation Center also feature at one of the most popular parks in the area.

With a designated swim beach and boat ramp, Yellowjacket Creek is a great spot for families and anglers to explore West Point Lake.

McGee Bridge Recreation Area is one of three parks on West Point Lake to feature a fishing pier! Picnic sites and boat launching facilities are also available to visitors.

Horace King Park provides ample shoreline to enjoy West Point Lake. Find a boat launch, picnic sites and a reservable shelter area for groups.

On the eastern shore of West Point Lake, Earl Cook Recreation Area features a broad variety of activities for visitors to enjoy. Seasonally, a swim beach, two picnic pavilions, ball fields, and a playground are open to the public, and boat launching facilities are available year-round.

Sunny Point Recreation Area, west of LaGrange, features year-round boat launching facilities, numerous picnic sites and access for bank fishing.

Glass Bridge Park, located on the shore of West Point Lake, offers boat launching facilities year-round. There are also numerous picnic sites and good access for bank fishing.

Long Cane Recreation Area is an expansive waterfront park located conveniently between LaGrange and West Point. Find nature trails, boat launching sites, picnic tables and group picnic shelters.

This boat ramp and lake access park is day use only and can be found near the northern part of Troup County.
